Thanksgiving Safety for Your Pets!

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and will be here before we know it! Here are a few safety tips to keep your pets safe during this wonderful holiday:
1. Make sure your pets are in a safe place because they can easily bolt out of the front door when family and friends are entering or exiting.
2. Make sure all leftovers are properly disposed of and trash is out of reach for your pets.
3. Ensure that your guests know that offering any scraps or leftovers to your pet is unacceptable. Table scraps can cause illness and GI upset to your pet. 4. While your guests are enjoying their meal offer your pet a favorite treat or toy.
5. Offer your pet a "safe escape" or a quiet area where he or she can go to get away from the noise and chaos of the holiday.
